Your Second Visit to Our Seattle Practice

Seattle area chiropractic practice members appreciate we explain things first.

After we study your health history and correlate our assessment findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Recommendation of Care Visit.

At this visit, we will go through what Dr. Penaluna found during your evaluation.

If your condition is something that chiropractic care can help, we will talk about what it is going to take to get the innate healing powers of your body back on track. However, I want to know what your goals are. The recommendations I make for you is what is going to get you to the top of the mountain as fast as possible; but, I need to hear from you what is important and sculpt our approach accordingly. Again, it is all about you. Should you like what you hear and choose to proceed, this is the visit where you will receive the first chiropractic adjustment and your care will begin.

Don't worry, I will be with you every step of the way. My staff and I will also get you acquainted with the office flow so that you are totally familiar with how the practice operates.

Then, there will be a 3 hour assessment on all that you have learned...just kidding!

To conclude the second visit, I will also invite you to our Wellness Forum which is held at the office every Tuesday evening at 6:45 PM. The Wellness Forum will educate you on how to eat, think, and move in ways that support your body. The Wellness Forum is an integral part of your care and is complimentary for friends and family who want to know more about these areas of health. We have found that practice members who attend the Wellness Forum obtain better results faster and with less expense.

Dr. Penaluna Asks some important questions of interest to Seattle residents - Chiropractor Seattle Dr. Penaluna Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Seattle parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
